Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Economics and Finance at the City University of Hong Kong. I am on the 2026–2027 job market.
I am a trade economist working at the intersection of trade and environmental economics, with a research agenda centered on the effectiveness and welfare consequences of trade and environmental policies. My research develops along two complementary themes: i) I study how imperfect enforcement of trade restrictions induces avoidance behavior and how these responses affect policy effectiveness, environmental outcomes, and welfare. ii) I study how economies adjust to deeper international integration and its impacts on economic complexity and green innovation.
I hold an M.A. in Economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics and a B.A. in Economics from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
